Colquitt

If Cunningham keeps playing well and Fulmer names Colquitt the starter then Phil has another PR mess on his hands with some fans.

If Cunningham plays well, I don't see it happening.

colquitte definately starts as soon as the suspension is over. cunningham has been terrible except for the second half against auburn. he was punting from inside au's 50 most of that time and got a few lucky bounces and rolls. colquitte is an all american type punter with a great leg and gets good hang time. he will be starting against georgia

Coming from someone who can't even spell his name right.

Those pooch kicks looked good; he gave all of those balls a chance to "get lucky." His non-pooch kicks, with one exception against Auburn, have not been good. It would not surprise me to see Colquitt as the starter with Cunningham as the designated poocher.

Pinning punts inside the 20 is the job of the punter. minimizing it because the Colquitte name is not on the back of jersey is rediculous.
The drunk should have been kicked off the team.

Ok, are we being serious? Colquitt will be the starter the second the NIU game clock hits 0:00. Cunningham has not been good with teh exception of the second half against Auburn. And those were the easy types of kicks that punters get to make. He was pooch punting from midfield the whole second half. He has not made one good punt all season when we were backed up deep in our territory and we needed a 50+ yard boom. Colquitt absolutely starts immediately.

How is that a PR hit? Everyone is hysterical right now about playing Stephens because he has to be better than Crompton. Well, Colquitt is better than Cunningham. So why do we have a double-standard here...

Guys that should not still be on the team deserve no standard.

The argument is not about whether or not he should be on the team. That decision has already been made. Like it or not. But he is on the team and he is without a doubt the best punter (and upperclassman) on the team. The question was just whether or not he would start. Its an easy answer. Absolutely yes, he will start immediately.

Again, that is not the question at hand. The 'life lesson' was the 5 games he missed. You and I might not agree that the punishment was enough but that is not what is being debated right now. He has served the punishment that was laid before him. Now that he is eligible, is he the best punter on the team? Yes, therefore he starts. Bottom line.

Dude, just messing with ya. It is really does not matter at this point as to who our punter is.

If it wasn't for his last name he would have been punted from the team.

The kid is talented on the football field; he does not seem to be able to make smart decisions off of it. To me it is just another example of their being no discipline on this team.

That's fine, I'm just saying if we keep losing it's just going to be another feather in the cap of people against Fulmer.

He throws a guy off the team that smokes some weed, yet gives a 5 gamer to a guy who has a history of the bottle and recent arrest on drunk driving?

When Colquitt comes back that will be back in people's minds.
