Wow, what a ride so far.. who would have thought we would be so far along path forward right now!
While walking today (I walk a “marathon a week”… recommend those older Vol fans do the same), was thinking about our season so far and the road ahead. Here’s some of my random thoughts for next weekend’s opportunity:
Gameday Sign Ideas for those lucky enough to attend (in no particular order):
- “SEC Champions? Not so fast, Bama!“ (with picture of Lee Corso)
- “We got You Bama!”
- “Rocky Top is ESPN Gameday‘s new Home Sweet Home!” (On picture of checkered Neyland)
- “Hey Gameday, see you again in Athens (and Atlanta!)
- “Anyone who ranks OSU over UT is nuts (picture of a buckeye vice “nuts”).

- (Under pic of power T) Dub! (Under pic of A) Dud!
Gameday preps for our University: Need a strong push by UT (looking at you media department) for;
- HYPE for HENDON for HEISMAN! (He’s clearly earned some administrative push by Danny White and/our board of trustees).
- Media support for creating portion on Gameday about the Rock (need some student participation here)… whether scenes from prior coaches (think Kiffen, Dooley, Pruitt, etc) or our previous games vs Tide.
