What game are you thinking is a toss up?

I see six money wins. The same six as everyone else. After that, I can't be sure enough to put money on it. The other six opponents have more talent and will probably win.

Would take S.Carol under all day and will do that tonight. Also going to take UT and Ala over.

I would take the over on UT in a heartbeat. Seven wins is a great possibility. I'd probably take the under on UGA too. That's about it.

I imagine that there will be enough delusional UT fans to bet the over that it will move to 7.5 in a week or two; at that point, should be an easy decision to take the under.

Question is: how much would I, as a UT fan, pay to see UT win 7 games? 8 games?

I would pay $50 today to guarantee 7 wins; therefore, easy for me to take the under at 6.5 (if they don't get to 7, I get paid).

I would pay $200 today to guarantee 8 wins; therefore, easy for me to take the under at 7.5.

Hedging finances and tranquility.

If only that were how it worked, we could just take the Notre Dame under every year two weeks after the lines come out.

I think that it is equally likely that UT wins 7 instead of 6, so I don't think there is any "smart money." Betting on your team is the dumbest thing you can possibly do if you care about your money though.

Tough call. There are the 6 games that we should win, so it's tempting to take the over and think that we will win just one against FL, GA, LSU, Bammer, USCjr or AR. I think if you asked most of Volnation, they would say we win at least one of those. To someone's point, I can see that line venturing up to 7.0 in a hurry.
