I just watched Tillman predict the game. He was entirely bias like all people are. He said this was going to set up a match up of two of the most prolific offenses in football. Cal and USC as undefeated teams for the national title. He said our D has no big names. Yep no good secondary or linebackers. And I am pretty sure Bolden will be drafted high but that is me. He basically sees Cal as one of the top teams in football and us as a team without talent. Another ignorant football fan, I am getting excited for Saturday, If not for the darn pinky I would be grinning from ear to ear.

It doesn't seem ridiculous to pick Cal so why is everyone reacting so harshly to those that do? Don't get me wrong, I'm all Vol, but there's no way we go into this game as a favorite after last season. Sure we blew them up last year in the first game, at home, but you have to look at the situation going in to last season and ending last season. Going in, we had a lot to prove and some vented up anger and frustration. In addition to that, Cal was clearly not prepared on either side of the ball. Cal was able to overcome that loss and put together a pretty respectable season (10-3) including a blow out of Texas A&M (45-10) in their bowl game. I don't see any bias in picking Cal at home to win this game, especially with the questions around Ainge's finger. That being said, GO VOLS! Let's just hope Corso picks Cal as well!

I agree. I do think Cal is overhyped but they are a better team than most around here give them credit for. Jackson is one of the best in the country and his counterparts are no slouches. I do not like that matchup with our green secondary. If UT can generate a consistent pass rush we will be fine but if not....watch out. Last years game was a perfect storm for UT and to think this will be a repeat of last year's game is delusional. That said........31-20 UT!

the key to victory saturday will lie in the vols ability to play ball control football.....establish the rush and control time of possession...keep the cal offense on the sidelines and not allow them to get a rythm....the cal offense should be potent but the defense has gaping holes to fill from standouts lost from last year. vols 24 - bears 20.

More media bias to the west...

If they picked Tennessee would that be media bias to the South?
