Yeah, but to be fair, then we would have been the team getting humiliated in all those Tommy Frazier highlights.

I saw one of these "lists" the other day ranking the last 25 years of champions, that list had 1995 Nebraska at No. 4, which obviously meant the list was written by some kid whose balls hadn't dropped yet and never saw those Huskers play. That was the best college football team I've ever seen and it isn't close. That got me doing some digging for stats to back up what my eyes saw. That team won their games by an average of 38 points. Trailed only once the whole year and their closest game was a 14 point win. And of course THEY BEAT DEM' GATORS 62-24 in the Fiesta Bowl. That is still my favorite non-UT college football moment!

Please don’t diminish this accomplishment. Winners create luck and capitalize on it. Almost every national champion has had some luck, or created it. We were no different. Colorado got a 5th down for heavens sake. Nebraska’s kick against Mizzu. The list goes on and on.

And BTW, Stoerner didn’t just miraculously drop the ball. Our D-line had a lot to do with that. And Travis and our O-line marched, what 50yrds, in the clutch to score when it counted. Nothing was handed to us.

Not to mention the fact that that illegal kicking penalty was botched. UT should have had 1 st and goal not a safety.
