Just was watching and they had a segment on returns for touchdowns and not a single Berry one was showed. WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!

wait, what happened that would make us think that we should be mentioned today on a every weekday show like college football live?

Especially when we went to the SEC championship last year and it was the same story then, too.

Face it...we aren't relevant right now in the midst of bowl season.

So true...the only thing that would possibly be real news, is that we have CLK now and the coaching staff he could be putting together

I'm not a TV expert, but I'd guess a segment in which they talk about the best 7 loss team in America is not going to be a ratings winner.

Check the date... although I'm not sure why the Vols would be mentioned at the end of November, either.

This is, however, in sharp contrast to a few months ago when we wouldn't think twice about not being mentioned by a national show

ESPN hates us...thats old news tho

They had a highlight reel the other night during the ND/Hawaii game, that was kind of recapping the year in College football.....there were a LOT of Vol highlights in there, most notably Eric's hits on Knowshon Moreno and the poor receiver from Bama that he sent flipping.

I always chuckle when I hear *insert any college football fan* saying that ESPN CLEARLY hates their team. OSU fans say it, Florida fans say it, Texas fans say it....its a little comical to think the largest sports network in the world has some company wide vendetta against any team.

You must not have seen the Corso spot waiting for the elevator when the fat woman lets her pet pig escape when the elevator opens up and calls "Rocky Top" back. Or what's his name calling Tennessee fans trailer trash. Or Peyton losing the Hypesman to Charles Woodson due to their campaign. Have you been hiding under a rock or what?

Ahhh Chris Fowler..I'm pretty sure he had to apologize, didn't he?

Yeah, that's him. I'm sure he did. But he still hates Tennessee... :shades:

You can tell he just loathes Tennessee and it's fanbase. Did you see the College GameDay after Fulmer had his fare well presser? Fowler was such a dismissive prick and I thought Lee Corso was gonna punch somebody. So all these years of dogging CPF and as soon as he's canned they're all big Phans??? What a bunch of tool bag wankers.:espn:

Simple, Eric Berry and Lane Kiffin. They are actually the first thing to make us relevant in the past 8 years.

Not saying anything one way or the other, but I thought you might get a "chuckle" out of this:

I thought the spot with the pig was kinda funny.

I remember the Chris Fowler comment, and I agree he is a huge bag of douche.....but I dont judge an entire sports network on his comments alone. And to blame ESPN for Peyton losing the Hypesman is, at least in my opinion, just an excuse. Most of the voters are journalists that dont work for ESPN, and former winners. Woodson was the hot name cause he was the best player on the best team that year, and Peyton had lost yet again to UF that year. I think Peyton losing was disgraceful at best for the integrity of the award, but I dont blame a TV network for it just cause they happened to televise the event.

I have just heard the 'ESPN hates our team" from literally EVERY fan base I have ever met, even up here in Little 10 country. They cant always write and report positive things about everyone, so each fan base has an ax to grind with them if something doesn't go their way. The only commentator for ESPN that holds water with me is Herbie anyway..... he is a former OSU player but still busts their balls when it is justified.
