Folks, I'm pretty much done with college football this year. If UT has nothing to play for I have no reason to watch college football.

Thank the good Lord for the NFL and my Broncos. Hopefully they will stay healthy and play sound ( minimal penalties and turnovers and bone headed plays such as snaps 10 yards over qb's head, and rb's knocking ball out of QB's hands ) football.

Hopefully our team will grow and get better for next year so we can play for an SEC title.

Bye - and don't come back when the Vols start winning.

If you can't support them through the bad, you don't get to support them through the good.

I get it, we've seen this team play for the past 7 years with the same results, losing to team we shouldn't. Butch is a nice guy, but he recruits players that do not have the it factor in the game. His offense is predictable, Dobbs is a good kid, but his play as a Senior is barely better than his sophomore year. I can't stand to watch my UT Vols fail, sorry, I went through Lame Kiffen, Duffis, I am not going to sit back and watch the same crap again for this season. Butch better make some changes, because it won't be me that causes his demise, it will be the lack of fans in Neyland that will.....UT Fans are tired of mediocre coaches.....we deserve better.

I see what you are saying. For my health, I gotta get away from this team for a while. A fresh start to next year is what I need.

I gotta fever, and the only medicine is the 2017 version of UT football.

Actually I can appreciate you blind faith, but you know as well as any Vol Fan, the "Vols start winning" is proof of your own admittance that coach Jones is not the answer. Yes, fans will return when we feel the $ invested is returned with quality staff. I will tell you this, anyone out there getting paid $4 million would be fired already with this type of mismanagement of resources.

Think about it:rock:

I would agree but I know I won't be able to resist watching the rest of our games. Really sucks we don't have much of anything to play for anymore though

Lol, you are probably right. I doubt it though. I'm telling you, this has been a tough year for me

Stop living vicariously through sports teams and things won't be so tough.

I love Tennessee. If they win great! If they lose, oh well. I'm not playing on the field nor am I getting paid to make decisions about how they play on the field. To quote Eleanor Roosevelt, "no skin off my sack".

Im probably not as down on Butch as you but I have to admit I am a little. I personally believe that injuries have derailed this season. My issue with CBJ is the lack of discipline and fundamentals of this team. We have a lot to clean up as far as penalties turnovers and bone headed plays go. It's killing me.

UT football, man I grew up on it. They are my number one sports team, and I really enjoy sports. I get what you are saying though

For us all, but for me, im a vols fan. Good bad or ugly. I root for the kids on our team, not a coach not an AD. I have 5 more chance to watch the vols play a game, although ill miss this week for a USMC birthday ball. But I cherish each of those with my children, cause it teaches them about life, not to be quiters, stand for the kids at UT and dont quit on them and stand with them through the tough times cause it makes the good times that much better.

And I live in Alabama man.

Geez, I'm not quitting on UT football! I'll be there next year hoping for the best! Going to games, buying the gear, blasting rocky top, on volnation!

I gotta get away from things sometimes to keep from saying and doing things I shouldn't. UT football really gets to me and to keep from making a fool of myself I gotta get away sometimes

What's killing me is that losing at home to our main rival 50-10 was no big deal. Few cared. But, losing by a field goal on the road in a halloween night game by an improving team that had this game circled since the spring as their season....that was the straw LoL.

There is a huge difference between SC and Bama in coaching and talent.

That being said, my reasons are not based necessarily on one game. I have been watching this team shoot itself in the foot all year. That combined with the mounting injuries, it's clear to me we aren't good enough right now.
