You gotta put playmakers in a position to make plays and get them in the flow of the game. He did do well on returns, though... Don't see how you can complain about that.

Yep. You gotta get the guys with speed and playmaking ability in space. I mean I think he only got 5 touches all game.

Give Meyer UT players and Fulmer UF players and Fulmer will still lose by double digits. Of course, Fulmer would find a hard time fielding any offensive and defensive units b/c of all the freshmen and sophs on Florida's roster.

Coker's still the only UT back right now that is capable of being great. Creer should follow him. He's just now getting in shape after the suspension, but it's crazy he can't get the ball enough. It's not just like this was the first time, it's happened before. Now, that Fulmer is getting under heavy pressure he'll play him more even if he doesn't like him.

With Cooker in the game Fulmer ran up the middle, with Foster he ran sweeps.

Doesn't that seem back asswards?

coaches have to players in positions to make big plays. Somebody said it earlier, if we had Reggie Bush he would have had 6 carries for 11 yards. Just goes to show how we have a top 5 recruiting class every year and we never see the talent. I'm tired of wasted talent, players no longer come to UT and become better. We keep getting talent, yes (we keep sending guys to the NFL), but we are terrible at player development and letting our so called great athletes do what they do best. And it all comes to down to coaching.

I think you guys are worry about being out of coffee when you are on a sinking ship.

Say what you want about the offense but when a defense puts you in a hole, its limits you as to what you can do offensively.

If coker can tackle, blitz, cover and make INTs, Im all for him starting. But he isnt the answer to TEAM woes

What would Urban do with Cooker? Ceer?

Wait -- I don't think we want to know.

If you did that then Harvin and Tebow wouldn't see the field cause they haven't learned the complete scheme yet :)

Way to ruin your argument by being ridiculous. If we switch rosters in that exact same environment there is absolutely no way Meyer wins by double digits with UT roster. Cutcliffe would have a great offense with all of UF's weapons. And, Meyer would not be able to come anywhere close to fixing our sorry excuse for a defense.

I'm surprised he maid the team.It might help if he would stay out of Fulmer's doghouse and had some blockers up front.

I said when everyone was one calling for him that Foster, Creer, and Hardesty were more seasoned and that missing several weeks of two-a-days and a big game hurt him and I was blasted for it because Coker was the only one who would never be caught from behind. Wrong!

The guy had 5 carries, and nowhere to run on any of those 5. He also provided one of the few sparks with his KO return. Lamarcus Coker's on the field performance is somewhere around 75th on our "Things to fix" list.

Exactly, he had 5 carries. A guy like Coker might average 2 yds/carry for his first 9 carries and then break the 10th one for a 50 yd TD.
