Hyams just said on SportTalk he would be back there. I would assume for Foster but he didn't say who he would replace. I think it's a good move even though Foster had the long return.

Yea Foster looks like he's running slow but seems to not get tackled. It seems like he's going to have a good year.

i completely agree. i think if all of our rb's get some time in games, they'll all have pretty solid years.

I would like to see Coker but I would also like to see Vinson, Jones, Berry,Oneal, or even Creer. If these guys are as talented as advertised then they should be on the field in some capacity. I liked the way Moore ran north to south on his return the other night. I think he will be a great player at UT. I don't think Foster has the speed to be a consistent return man and we need him at RB anyway.Foster looks stronger than last year but he also looks like he lost a step in the speed department. All I could think about the other night is what if Coker had been running the ball when Foster made that long run down to the 3 yard line. He would have scored easily. I do think Foster is an improved back though and will get 1,000 yds this season. He has one of the best stiff arms that I've seen lately.

Foster would have scored on that run had he not looked back. He looks slow for a reason on these runs and kickoffs. It is because he let's the play develop and follows his blockers instead of relying on raw speed and agility. Coker may have ran by his blockers and got tackled at our 30 on that long kickoff. Either way, I'm happy that he will be returning kicks because he needs to touch the ball. Hopefully he has Moore, O'Neal, or another speedy newcomer back with him.

He was injured on a kickoff return against Alabama last year...so, hopefully, lightning won't strike twice in his case.

I like him back for returns, his burst and his quickness make him a threat. Hopefully he'll make some big plays.

I would argue he looks slow because he is slow, comparatively speaking.

He is slow compared to Coker, Moore, Vinson, O'Neal, Berry, etc. He isn't a speed back, though. He relies more on vision and smarts.

I think its a great idea...I suspect that Coker will start out 3rd in the depth chart and returning KOs would be a great place to get him on the field and the ball in his hands.
