Coker and Foster debate heats up...

Did I say he was not banged up last season? You said we need both to win 8 to 9 games. I showed that we won 9 last year and one barely had 200 yards. Point taken?

GA, we should put together a VN meeting for that weekend. Given the magnitude of the game, it seems warranted.
for the first time in two years, i should be in attendance, so i'm all for it......i assume the brewery would be the meeting place on Friday night?

as for Coker/Foster/Creer/Hardesty......i think the biggest problem with AF is the inconsistency. I have been frustrated with him all season. half the time he's tenative and doesn't hit the hole running, he shifts one way or the other, and falls forward for 2-3 yards. then he'll have playes where he cuts it back and gets 6, 7, 8 yards etc...and rolls over people. it's like watching two different guys. then there's the fumbles....and it's not the act of fumbling that does it, it's the result of his fumbles usually leading to an opponent's score.

i dont' think there's any doubt that Coker and Creer have the speed that Foster lacks. but there are roles for all three in this offense. having said that, i would like to see coker and creer on the feild more, and i'd like to see some combination of the three on the feild at the same time more.

Yeah, that why Coker had over 50% of his rushing yards against Marshall, Vandy, and Memphis. We don't need Foster healthy to help carry the load against the rest of the SEC. Shoot Coker can run the ball just fine. If you don't have 2 backs that can share carries and run the ball in the SEC CONSISTENTLY, then you will have problems running the ball as we did last year. Coker maybe a faster more dynamic back, but Foster can wear down defenses with consistent runs for positive yardage. Shoot, Hardesty got more carries than Foster did last season because Arian was hurt.
