Florida is ranked higher than us because their QB is tested and ours isn't. I hate to admit it, but Chris Leak is going to be better than he was last year. C.J. MIGHT be able to beat him if he has the talent to back him up. The only thing that bothers me is the "brother" thing. If they're as close as he says, how will he be hungry to beat him?

Time will tell, I guess.

I like us at #14 but I agree that it's probably a little high based on what we know at this point.

But, like CPF said, we tend to play better when expectations are low. As I said before, I would LOVE to see the Vols have another '98 season. But all I NEED for this season to be a success is a win against Florida, Georgia and Bama.

UF is too high IMO..they should be around #20 til that young D can prove themselves...that is the weakest link!

I&#39;m surprised UF isn&#39;t ranked HIGHER. As bad as I hate to admit it, Chris Leak is going to be better than last year and he was no slouch back then. A "young D" will grow up pretty quick, especially in the SEC. I&#39;m glad we&#39;ve got UF at home this year, but I still expect a nail-biter.

The sad thing is that I&#39;m not sure Bama was even the second best team in Alabama last year. Troy State almost beat Nebraska and did beat Marshall.
