Last year when Tennessee fired off to big leads and then choked down the stretch we blamed the coaches. This year Tennessee has gotten off to some rotten starts -- to no fault of the playcalling -- and then the team adjusts and rallies... and we still blame the coaches.

I'm as tired as anyone about these bad starts, but at some point we have to collectively agree that bad teams don't overcome this sort of adversity. We're a good team that has made some critical mistakes early on and then every time we've fought back. Let's acknowledge the second part that we need to eliminate the mistakes but also acknowledge the first part that we are a good team, players and coaches both.

I feel like overall the coaches called an okay game (except at the end), we just had player execution errors that cost us unbelievably badly.

We need to get this coaching staff to get them to coach a game where they have this team ready to play for 4 quarters. Just sayin!

Well I have fond memories of one of my shirts, but, CBJ called it correct. Get them to burn their timeouts and lean on your D to stop them with a minute to go to get a TD. No coach alive would have thrown the ball then.

For all the adulation that the General gets, you guys forget the Maxims more than anyone I have ever seen.

Learned nothing from last years blown games. The last offensive drive when we could have killed the clock looked just like last years. Love what they have done in many ways but show up with a team ready to play 4 qtrs and learn from past mistakes.

Yeah we won buy a miracle pass that happens like 1-100? Just saying with 2 min left and GA with TO he once again is scared to put the game away

Ok, but still the last time I checked the only score that matters is when the score board has all zeros on it. Just sayin

You're not just as happy as everyone else. You sound miserable. You should literally just be a fan of another team. Nobody needs you, your pessimistic attitude, or your Debby Downness. Goodbye.

This is the weakest SEC east in over 20 years. I wouldnt be surprised if UT is the only team from the east to finish in the top 20.
UT lost the game with ***** play calling on next to last series and defense got eaten alive on UGA's last drive. They got bailed out by a first year coach who mismanaged the clock and game.
it was an awesome finish, but UT is not living up to its talent. they'd finish 3rd or 4th in the West.

Bad call on Smart's part. I would have kicked it as far as I could and see what happened.
Remind anyone of the Georgia game years back when PF did the same thing and got us beat?

You'll feel better if you go ahead and remove the hob nail boot from your backside, I sure do - it has bothered me for years

It is pretty sad when you have to bail yourself out with the Hail Mary. All we needed to do was to complete a pass for a first down and burn the clock and their timeouts. Instead he put it on the defense with three starters out of the game.

Luck. But of course I'm happy we won

In 1998 we needed Clint Stoerner to put the ball on the turf with a bow on it. That season ended ok. Is that sad?
