Considering that there are slim pickings left this year for top talent, is it more important that Donnie:

1. focuses his time on going after what uncommitted talent is left and hoping for a flip
2. prioritizing stealing some great assistants who are great recruiters and have '15 prospects.

#2 means that this year is guaranteed to suck but '15 could be a great recruiting year with a well developed system to train the new recruits (much like CBJ did). #1 could make this year better though there are no guarantees the end result would be any better than random chance.

What say you? If #2 you have to know that this year is going to suck and suck badly - but then, that is probably going to be the case no matter what. The question is, what will help us get further along the path to a great future in years 2 & 3?

Always prepare for the future.. What's one year of sucking compared to ten?
