just google AL's coaching history and you will soon realize where the Kiffin saga really ranks as far as embarassment is concerned. Remember Mike Dubose and 'Secretaries Day' and of course, Mike Price and 'Destiny'....how could we ever forget her 'roll tide roll' then there was also Franchione's sudden departure to A & M. AL hired a coach who lied to the fans and owner of the Dolphins and scurried out of Miami like a scared rabbit into the waiting arms of classy fans slobbering such unforgetable comments like "we bowlin, baby". Then you had the great Sabatini comparing the loss to LaMonroe to 'Pearl Harbor' or his hilarious story about a LA '*******. There are other schools who have endured significant scandals and embarassments and today they are all but forgotten as this will be one day. The ones that criticize the most like (Slimebum) have short memories and don't seem to recall all the stinging articles that were written about their program. If they can get thru all that, I'm sure we will manage to survive our chastisement. Despite what anyone may say, there have been worse offenses and you don't have to look too far to find where they were...LK will learn, but we should all realize that if this episode is the worst thing he ever does, we will be ok. We don't excuse anything but just put it in perspective.

If UT lands Bryce Brown all this will be forgotten. The media will stumble to do stories about how this talk by Kiffin is OK in the eyes of recruits

The truth is that this talk by CLK IS okay. From a highschool recruit's perspective, the only way they will want to come to a school that just finished a 5-7 season in the toughest league in college football is if he truly relates to the new coaching staff. That means having a winning attitude and, frankly, being cocky about it. Four and five star highschool juniors are just as brash and cocky as CLK is coming off right now. CLK knows that and is taking advantage of it. He couldn't care less what Florida or the SEC thinks.
