Looking at the UTSports site:

Football Coaches

Does Kiffin have any control over the "Tennessee Football Support Staff"?

Just seems odd that none of these guys have really changed. I know he hired a new S&C coach. Are these people under different control than that of the head football coach?

Just wondering since nearly all the coaches at the top of the page have changed and the bottom has not changed as much

My guess is that these are support people and know the program inside and out. No reason to look for replacements here. If I am not mistaken, Frazier and Parrott have been in the locker room for years and years. I think they were there when I was a student in the late 80's.

I know some, and think most or all, report up to the AD. If the head coach had a major beef I'm sure he could have some influence, but otherwise they hold the equivalent of non-patronage, civil service positions.
