This is not intended to bust Fulmer or to bust Saban. I'd just like thoughts on whether or not the coaches have played a part in this one.

So far I've noticed this.

Saban does onside kick first play.
Saban ( or Major Applewhite ) runs a shift play to cause UT to jump offsides allowing Bama a 1st down on 4th and short.
Saban goes for it on 4th
Saban is intense..getting all over people.

Fulmer claps a lot.

That pretty much sums up this game.

Bama = playing with intensity and taking the game to Tennessee

Vols = not focused or disciplined

didn't think it was possible but your threads are getting worse. When TVA is the only one agreeing with you it's time to take a break

What game are you watching? Because it sure looks like that is the theme of the game so far.

Saban is intense, focused, and continuously evaluating how the game is going and adjusting accordingly.

Fulmer and Chavis continue to look disinterested and wondering what's for dinner.

This is pathetic

nothing he said is anything but crap. He's also trying to take your "King Troll" status away

Rebutt what I've said then? I have no idea what you're even talking about. What above did I write that you disagree with?

I asked you to tell me what you see when you compare the coaching.

Thanks in advance for your reply.

nothing you said makes any difference. You point out 2 calls in the game and say that's proof of greatness? You fail to point out the CPF gets all over people but that wouldn't prove your point. You and TVA are a good pair

You're not doing very well here. A lot of rhetoric that says nothing.

Did I say Saban was great somewhere? I stated what I've seen today. No mention of greatness. I've not seen CPF get all over anybody today but maybe they haven't shown it. Honestly, I don't recall ever seeing him eat somebody up on the sidelines. Not saying that's entirely wrong in the least but there is a time to be intense and to light a fire under these kids.

I'm asking you to compare the coaches. That's what I asked. I want nothing more than for Tennessee to ROLL over the Tide today.

I'm asking for honest prognostication from other Vol fans. If you think CPF is doing a great job today then that's fair enough...state it. You're free to an opinion. I voiced what I've "seen" today. Any of this crap is based on what we see on TV since we aren't there on the sidelines with 'em.

But if you're going to rebutt at least do a better job of stating the facts man and leave the whining name calling junk out of it.

He can't name one instant today where any of our coaches have done a good job in any area. So instead, he'll just swim in the feces of his arrogance and try to troll.

present facts and maybe I can. Onside kick I even said was a good call. Any reason we should know it's coming? The shift play? We do that but you only point it out because they made it work once. You fail to point out our guys were prepared the 2nd time and didn't fall for it. Convenient. I have seen CPF intense and he wants to win as much as anyone. To say otherwise is naive and dumb. Going for it on 4th is great if the odds are in your favor. 4th & inches on your opponents side of the field is a much easier and smarter call than 4th & 2 from your own 40. Need more?

Did present 'em. See initial post. Yes, we should always know it's coming. That's called GOOD COACHING.

The shift play? We do that but you only point it out because they made it work once. You fail to point out our guys were prepared the 2nd time and didn't fall for it. Convenient.

They should have been prepared the first time. What has Fulmer done to try and get Bama to jump? Has Bama jumped from Fulmer's shift play? If not then does that indicate that they are more prepared? Just a thought.

I, too, think he wants to win. I don't doubt that for one second. I agree with everything you said on going for it on 4th. I can't recall where Saban was when he did it vs. Fulmer when he could have done it so I agree with you here.

Need more?

That was better.

What if you're down by 13 closing in on the 4th quarter and your defense hadn't stopped anybody all day? Should you go for it on 4th down then?

We got out coached on so many levels I wouldn't even know where to begin. Saban played to win and Fulmer played not to lose.

you have no concept of field position do you?

I have a full understanding of field position. But also understand game situation and having no faith in turning the ball over to a defense that hasn't made a stop all day. You just don't automatically punt the ball whenever you are on yourside of the 50. Sometimes, you have to look at the big picture. We're down 13, needing to keep drives alive and make something happen on offense, and at the sametime keep our Maginot Line defense off of the field.

All of that has to be weighed into the decision...
