i looked at every voter, and it appears that conference allegiance plays a huge factor into this (surprise).

I guess what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Recruiting is getting ready to get ramped up.

I think pinkel has the most messed up ballot. He seems to be way off the mark in comparison to the other coaches.

Because he left the Gators out of CG? Texas only loss was to TT on last second play that should have been moot if their D could hold on to a gimme pick. Fla lost to a team that lost to Vandy & USCe.

If you use that logic, then you have to say that Texas and Alabama should be in the National Title game because, of the one loss teams, they have the most impressive losses.

Who needs a mythical championship game anyway....vote for it. The BCS is a bit better than the past, but in the end it's still a beauty contest to a large extent.

New England won the vote for the Superbowl last year. Oh yeah they played the game and the Gaints beat an undefeated team......That would never happen in a vote would it.

When are we going to get a real playoff that really decides a real National Champion? I'd love to have seen it this year with all the awesome games I could be watching!

Kind of off topic I suppose....it's just so stupid we can't have a playoff.

No, it's gratitude for the guy who helped him win that 1996 national championship ring.

Spurrier has never once griped about a score. He ran it up when he was at UF, and he's not been a hypocrite when his USC teams have not done well.

Not at all. OU should be there on merit. ut should be there on merit. UF is a fraud is what Im saying. Yay they have been on a streak lately. Its all a TV thing anyway. Who will bring me the best ratings. If you think computers pick this garbage then you are delusional. Its all about the networks, they decide who plays for the marbles. I will make you a charity bet. I take Florida and you tak OU. The loser sends $100 to Freak to give to a charity of the winners choice. When you send in your $100 just know it's going to St. Judes.

UF will beat the hell out of OU IMO. The only half decent defense OU has faced was TX and they got beat. UF's defense will be on Bradford (a very good QB) all night long.
