the kicking game. The coaches kept telling us Palardy was doing well in camp, and I believe them. I think Palardy just can't get it done when the lights come on. I think he either gets nervous, over thinks kicks, or both.

And Darr hit 2 good punts last week, but the others were poor and also did poorly today.

It completely bum-fuzzles me how Palardy and Darr were both rated 1-2 at their respective positions coming out of high school. Either the rating services were way off or our kicking coach (or lack of) has completely ruined these guys. Bray and Co. are top of the line, but they still aren't going to score touchdowns every drive. If this is not fixed, could very well cost us 2-3 games this year.

Also, as we all know, the running game still needs work. I believe its better, but still nowhere near it needs to be. We have the talent to do it IMO, I think its more coaching and playcalling for the run more than anything. This is up to Chaney and Pitman.

The secondary has also got to improve further. Can't continue to have all the blown assignments/miscommunications. Georgia is the team that could really burn us here if its improved.

If Tennessee could do these, I think we can beat any team on our schedule if healthy, including Alabama. GO BIG ORANGE!!!

Palardy can hit the long kicks (sometimes). He is bad at short kicks , angles and extra points. Let Broadus do the EX P. and short field goals. I'm not saying Palardy is great at kicking the longer kicks , but he has hit from beyond 50. It just seems like the hard stuff is easier for him and the easy stuff is perfect for Broadus. Missing the extra point and short field goals is going to cost us. If they think Palardy can clear his head and come in the game kicking from the unexpected range , fine by me. Time to make a change for the better no matter who likes it or not.

You are over a little wrong we had north of 150 rushing yards in both games. We are a passing team. We use our running game to keep the lb's honest for the explosive passing game. Neal avg. 5.2 yards per carry which is very good if he had more than 20 caries he passes 100 yard mark. Next week we will run more believe me.

Doubt it - UF has the most talented D line we will face all season. Hopefully we can break 100 rushing yards but I wouldn't bet on it.

Palardy will cost us a game or two if he continues missing extra points. I can live with a missed field goal occasionaly, but missed extra points are completely inexcusable.

I say Brodus for extra points and short field goals. Palardy for long ones. Brodus is accurate in short range, but I'm not so sure he has the leg strength for the long ball.

No kicker is perfect, so lets just hope he was getting those misses out of his system. I wouldn't hesitate to put him in the game for the win this week. He will be fine. He has improved, but he still has a long way to go

I didn't see the missed PAT yesterday but the one against NCSU was on the snapper and not the kicker

TN used to be known for it's kickers. We are still known but in a bad way. Palardy is a bust. You can either kick a ball or you can't.

When it comes to the kicking game... What can you coach? Either you make an extra point or not... Its not the coaches, Palardy just struggles week on week out.

Ironically, Feet may be Dooley's Nemesis? The feet of the Kicker(s) and the feet of the heavy O-Lineman not getting to their blocks fast enough on the run game?

Let me guess you trusted this guy to?
