Coach Q to the Giants

Frank would be fine in MLB. He is a mental approach, get the most out of yourself, and problem fixer which is what MLB pitching coaches do. He does not change mechanics unless it is not working.
Do you believe Frank would enjoy the grind of the 162 game schedule and being away from home 10-12 days at a time?

Tony taking Frank would be a d*ck move honestly.

If Tony takes Frank, I give Tony very little chance to be successful at SF.

And Frank is a GREAT COLLEGE pitching coach. But, as I pointed out a few posts above, managing a MLB staff that pitches nearly every day over a 6-month stretch is entirely different than college.

Whatever Frank decides, I think Elander will be fine. He's already shown he can go out and snatch top flight assistants. Lots of good pitching coaches out there to steal. But if he does leave, a lot of VN will feel a little differently about TV.

It will 100% be Josh Reynolds.

He already does a lot of the recruiting

Tony, not being very loyal to the program,he supposedly loves and cherishes
I understand that sentiment, but the flipside to that is Tony IS being very loyal to the guys that helped get him where he is, now.

Perhaps Frank has often expressed privately to Tony that he'd have loved to have gotten a shot at MLB, himself, and Tony is showing his appreciation by giving him at least the opportunity to take it if he wants it.

No matter how loyal you feel to a place, you're always going to feel more loyal to the people that stood by you along the way. That's true in sports and in life.
