Coach Pruitt needs a catch phrase...

Boy butch had, "Brick by Brick", for years idiots hung on his every word, as if he were actually a good coach. Remember when we continuously heard, "Butch is a SUPER DUPER Recruiter" and the rest of the bile spewed by he adoring fans? I think he got away with being a crap coach for all those years because he had his cute, little catch phrases. Coach Pruitt isn't being given the same grace period as was given boy butch, not even close. It's time for CP to come up with a catch phrase. Any suggestions?

Nah.. He just needs to fix the team. Catch phrases, checkerboarding Neyland, Smokey greys, was all Butch's stuff to distract from the fact he was a piss poor coach. I don't think Vol fans will fall for that trap again.

I read a long post of yours yesterday that a large part of it was about Butch and his "boys" blah blah blah, now this. Maybe you need to get over it?

And, most everyone hated his catch phrases and are probably fine with never hearing another, just win. Why would you or anyone else start a thread asking for one?

It is hard to "get over butch" this year, as his mark is all over the team. My observation is boy butch was given FIVE years before his adoring fans had enough, Coach Pruitt isn't even given half a season, and he is trying to produce with boy butch's left-overs. One has to wonder, why was boy butch given so much time. Was it the "dumpster fire"? Was it the "super recruiting"? Or, was it his cute little catch phrases? Nonetheless, five years vs less than half a season, there must be a reason.

The POS lucked into another year due to AD Hart resigning it seems because Hart didn't want to send him packing and new AD Currie didn't either. Should have been put on the concrete immediately after Vandy loss of 2016. How many key injuries have we seen since Pruitt's been here? Jones let the team go soft is the major problem we started out facing.Seems to be getting better and I hope that's a sign other things will too.

He got away with being a bad coach because we gave him time to rebuild with all of the legacy players

Right...screw a bunch of talk. CP doesn't want to talk to anyone but the players and coaches and hopefully his wife and children. Reminds me of Saban......only does it because written in contract or school requires it.

I think recruiting has to change,we don't have the talent to compete.
