CJP talks about growing up in the south with Rick Russo.

I love it that Jeremy has small town values. He's big on family and loyalty. He strives to instill the best in the young men he coaches.

He's a man of faith and I'm proud of anyone who loves the Lord, especially if he is coaching my Vols. I really feel like we got a good one, folks.

I cannot wait to him on the sidelines with the 2018 team.

Don’t fret. If he starts losing we’ll turn on him and bring out the pitchforks.

I’m cautiously optimistic this is a homerun though.

Nobody should think Pruitt is a homerun hire. Right now he is nothing but the best hire we could have made considering the circumstances.

You said the same crap about Dollander and Botch. Admit it.

This. Right now he is in the honeymoon phase; new hire, no results yet, easy to like. Did the same thing with Dooley & Jones.

We'll see how the pulse of VN is next Fall or Fall 2019.

I think Clay Travis is annoying and a blowhard, but agree with his assessment that you can turn a program around by about year 2. So, we'll see by Fall 2019.

God loves UT Football. The past 10 years have been a test of our faith.

The First Plague was Kiffin, The 2nd Plague was Dooley & The 3rd Plague was Butch Jones- Let's just pray that God Forgives us & moves the Plagues South to the Bammers... They are Due for an Infestation of Locust & a Little Fiery Hail would Improve Tuscaloosa....

Say all you want about previous coaches. Kiffin was exciting because of his pro connections and his staff. No real resume but he could have been good. Dooley was exciting because of Daddy. Butch was exciting because he talked a good line and we were over Dooley. Pruitt has the resume, pedigree, says the right things, is a real ball coach, and actually may be good. I think there is reason to be excited.

Here's the thing. Outside of landing Jimbo or Kelly or Grumor, I am ok flying under the radar. I think Pruitt is tough minded fundamentals teacher who is putting together a nice staff. If he turns out to be the recruiter and teacher he appears to be, I think we will all like the results, regardless of whether he wins a vote on best hire or not. BRING IT Pruitt!!!

I keep my pitchfork honed to needle points but that's only mercy in case I have to use it.

I thought Bama values were to buy the best players, pump em full of roids, and cover up their missteps as long as they are contributing on the field.

Laws of average have us turning the corner and moving up hill with this coach. Five good years coming. Enjoy

Saban uses the prospect of NFL money as his carrot. With NFL falling in popularity I’m sure he’ll use donor money.
