Jay Graham quitting into a huge positive for this program. i understand recruiting is about relationships, i also understand the derth of this loss.

tennessee will be fine. its crucial (and i totally trust cbj to make the right call whoever it is).

we cannot fall behind candy, kentucky, and usc lite in recruiting. and to do so we must ensure right hire cant be utilized negatively in curtthroat sec via race card. jay graham was decent, but lacked flair of trooper taylor (love him or hate him) necessary to land the bigtime rbs. to me this is a silver lining.

i make no apologies. jay graham was one of my most beloved tn rbs. we need a good hire so Meyer and others cant recruit against us. could be a positive. a closer!!

Hoke hired 6 San Diego State assistants, and he is doing fine and recruiting lights out.

true but borges was OC at auburn before san diego state and the DC was the Ravens DC, they also kept the RB coach that was at mich. pretty big difference. our coaches do not have that experience.

Jancek and Martinez were both DC's at UGA. Thigpen has been a top recruiter at two different bcs schools.

If anything, our coaches have more experience(besides Mattison of course).

Why the manning hate? All I know about him is that he's young, and played pretty recently.. He could turn into a big time recruiter being so young and relating to the kids.

Well.. if you have to rely on your RB coach to make your program then you might as well stop playing football.

The good ole buddy big east staff just lost a ton connections in the south. I don't blame CJG for leaving ,he was the only stud/proven SEC offensive recruiter we had! ..Least paid guy on staff with a bunch of nobodys from central Mich! I hope Jay gave the whole staff a finger as he laughed his ass off walking away!
