Coach Eddie Gran on Special Teams

Gran can do it. He was a super assistant at Auburn and it was really their loss that he came to us...Maybe he will have a special play for them on kick off in Knoxville. I plan to be there with my Auburn husband and be prepared to rub it in when we win....I haven't had much of that in a long time with this game....My blood is orange and his is Auburn blue.....We will see. This game may determine if our marriage will survive another year.

This is great to hear! We have been really bad for a long time at Special Teams. In close games, that is one of the things that can be a game breaker. Kiffin and Co. seem to be getting things in order again. :good!:

Last I remember really being a force on return teams was the Carl Pickens era. We've had good kickers, just haven't been dynamic in the return game and have out right sucked too many times on coverage units to the point of being sickeningly predictable.
