Just heard him optimistically running down our front four, including Brandon Kennedy and Trey. He never mentioned the basis for his assertion.

Yeah, he has no earthly idea if he will he or not. But, because he’s pushing rainbows and unicorns yet again this morning about how great we’re gonna he next year, he has to say that Trey will be back.

He’s gone from being a good source of information for Tennessee football, to an absolute pollyanish comedy routine.

He just said, “we’re gonna be REALLY good next year at guard and center”, because they have the size, strength and smarts, and “there’s no doubt/debate about that”.

He’s lost his mind. He’s now a 100% complete mouthpiece who’s destroyed his credibility. Perhaps he’s just getting old and can no longer think for himself.

Lets finally be real about Vandy Doug Matthews. He was a mediocre coach at best, the only reason he is a "UT guy" is because he figured out a long time ago he could capitalize financially by portraying himself as such because there is no money being a "Vandy guy". If anyone thinks he actually has a "hot take" about anything to do with our program then they need to put the crack pipe down. He is a sheep herder and its hard to believe that many of you cant see through that.

I don't know about Trey, but they better recruit like he isn't coming back. We need a couple of players at guard that are in the 320 pound range and some better tackles. This had to be the smallest OL in the SEC. Let's see how well he recruits and how much the strength coach can do with a full year now.

Size ain’t the issue. Strength, intelligence and aggression are the issues regarding what was clearly the worst OL in college football this year.

Then there's that.

I’ll believe that when Trey Smith says it himself.

No offense but why wouldn’t he be back next year? Are we still pushing his almighty greatness as an olineman? There are several publications that award freshman all American honors and Smith received one as did dozens of other freshman olineman. Since then, he has been hurt and very average. He may leave but it won’t be based on results but the off chance he dominates the combines

Tennessean completely trashed VOL program this morning. Van der built making
Huge statement in middle Tennessee recruiting. VOLS attendance drops to
Record lows next year Fulmer and Pruitt go on sizzling hot seat.

Pruitt must drill a Shumer-less Vandy and make a bowl.
