Coach Cut left before the 98 championship game and things could have gone bad, Thankfully we won ! He then came back and hung around to helped get Randy Sanders run out of Knoxville, after he (Cut) had been run out of Ole Miss. Now he is leaving again saying, oh how I love TN. Not only that, he is costing us in recruiting again (see Terrelle Pryor) pulling away Fulmers staff other than Luke & Roper ( see Harrison) When he gets run out of Duke, I hope he doesn't come crying back to Knoxville and get our next OC run off !

. . . because clearly David Cutcliffe was the lone catalyst for running Randy Sanders and Assistant Coaches should never seek greener pastures.

Are you saying that Duke is a greener pasture?

Why the hate for Cutcliffe leaving? I can understand being frustrated with his playcalling. But getting angry that he took a promotion and triple pay raise? That's selfish of you.

I love UT to death, but if I Cutcliffe, I would do the same and I bet most people here would too

If he helped get Randy Sanders out of the OC position, then he helped the program immensely. And we weren't getting Pryor anyway.

Duke's not as bad of a job as it's made out to be. Have a mediocre season there, which is possible if you have a lot of seniors and some good luck, and you're suddenly a hero and a candidate for better jobs. I can see Cut getting a couple of Western Carolinas on the schedule, beating four bad ACC teams and going to a Weedeater Bowl.

I'm pretty sure that anywhere that quadruples your current salary qualifies as a greener pasture.
I assumed you were saying that Roper and Luke were leaving for greener pastures. I can understand Cut going.
