As a mostly outsider to TN, I love that they are still the Lady Vols. So many schools dropped the "Lady" part from women's teams over the years in an effort to try and show people that women's sports are equal to men's. They are not always. In many instances, they are better. TN Lady Vol basketball is a great example. I look forward to great things under Coach's direction.

The Lady VOLs will play like a real basketball contender this Fall. I grew tired of watching the players the last two years just standing around watching another player standing on one spot dribbling the basketball and then throwing the ball away or having to take a desperate attempt to put up a shot with the clock running out. Can not wait for the season to start this. fall.

Its a great strategy. Hire them for less while they are an up and comer and give them a contract with incentives that rewards them when success demands it. And if they don't work out you haven't invested big $ to find out.
