The UT-Florida game is currently scheduled for 3:30 on the 15th....I'm supposing that is on CBS. What is the night game if that is the day game...or does CBS not show a night game? If that game ends up being at 3:30...I am going to be royally p*ssed. My wife's aunt is a nun, and her 25th anniversary is that day and we are going....it is at 2:00 and I won't be free until at least 5:00 or 5:30...disaster!

I really want to go to that game, but of course at mid-afternoon in September in Florida, it will be smotheringly hot. In fact, calling those conditions hot would be like calling hell lukewarm.

As a consequence, tickets in what little shade there will be are at a premium and are out of sight. People on Ebay are paying about $225 for a pair in the sun, but more like $600 for a pair in the shade.

The difference is worth every penny.

the game could very likely be a 3:30 game with CBS. no doubt it will be on CBS, and CBS only does maybe two games a year at night, so don't get your hopes up. Looks like i'm missing saturday's game, so i feel ya

I cant wait for all the trash talk leading up to LSU @ Bama..just hope that game isn't a let down....

CBS lists the time as tentative, but it is the only game they are showing for the day. Is the problem that they don't want to go up against USC/Nebraska or what? Man...I wish they would change that.

It's hard for me to understand how a fanbase could despise a man who took their team from a mediocre team to the national championship in only 4 years. Saban would have a statue at Cal.

:) I know...I fear the lightning strike to tell you the truth. If I had known this was going to be a day game before the fact, I would have found a way not to buy the plane ticket. But, now we have plane tickets to Cincinnati and it looks like I am going. I am hoping to at least listen to the 1st half in mass/picnic and then maybe go to a bar around 5:15 or so. I might be able to slide by with that.....any clergy on here? Lightning strikes in my future???

My wife is pretty fair though..I proposed on the day of the UT/Florida game three years ago ... and then we went to a bar to watch the game instead of going to see her family :).

I'm just waiting for the question of who would propose on the day of the UT/Florida game..... (unless you were at the game).

We didn't get to Cincinnati much and we had a wedding there that day that we had to go to over that weekend. I wanted to propose to her in her hometown, so that was about the only opportunity. Also....I figured that the UT/Florida game is usually that weekend, and I would be less likely to forget when we got engaged :).

Isnt that the truth, Saban leaving was nowhere near like Tuberville jumping ship late in the night..now that was entertainment!

The SEC gotw is always in the 3:30 ET time slot. Very rarely does CBS have a night game.
