I posted this in another thread, but the headline makes it worse than what it was. It seems clear to me that the officer escorting him is his team-assigned officer who was just protecting him. The officer was on the court with the team. Some random police officer isn't going to intervene on the court unless it gets physical. I certainly don't like Vandy, but it's not much of a story if you ask me.

Bobby Knight got away with more. You are right not much of a Story, but watching to see how Vanderbilt's AD handles it.

Stackhouse is a hothead--and he flipped his lid over a no-foul call. You can't go out on the court and charge at a referee like that. Bush league. It was definitely a story. He will not be at Vandy very long.

It was during a timeout, so it's not like he was on the court during game action. I will also assume it wasn't because of one call- usually coaches get that upset when there is a pattern.

Not sure why I even care about the Vandy coach, but it's just a coach getting too upset about the officiating. It won't be the last time. While he did follow one, he didn't make contact, and he wasn't escorted by security, which was a little misleading. He earned his two technicals.

I agree with your overall premise, but he came within a hair of making contact at one point. I'm not so certain the SEC Office won't try and make it a bigger deal because of how close he came to contacting an official.

Yeah, totally trolling. Get lost.

Our coach got suspended after making contact with a ref. This is a non-story. But apparently that’s “trolling” to tell the truth around here.
Actually the umpire made contact with him but they suspended him anyway. So should Stackhouse be suspended.
