His name was in the mix for both positions.

If I were Mississippi State, then I'd fire Croom and hire Fulmer.

Tennessee needed a clean break. Fulmer, regardless of where one stands on his abilities, needed one as well. That kind of challenge would be the best thing for him right now.

I keep hearing Patterson is going to Clemson. I have also heard Bobby Johnson could be a dark horse for the same job, don't know. Bud Foster also interviewed at Clemson.
