Al Golden is a name I did not think about, could be on a list, need to go back and see were he came from, don't know much about him.

#2 Gruden and #10 Cutcliffe are the only real options, IMO. We would have had Cutcliffe instead of Dooley if Hammy had let Cut bring his assistants. They had already worked out the money, but then Hammy tried to play hard ball with a plastic bat.

If we hadn't had the Kiffin debacle and all the bad publicity that brought, I think we'd consider giving Petrino another shot. Somebody will. I wouldn't be shocked to see him go to Texas... or even back to Arkansas. Bet they'd take him. And if they don't, Auburn or UK will. Just win, baby!

I saw that he thinks gruden is a real deal candidate so i posted it bc for the most part clay travis is on point with knowledge

i dont like franklin but the guy has won at vandy with less talent. gotta give the man credit. i hope hart gives gruden a call this week.

Good article. I know nothing about clay travis, but I think he went a little extreme with gruden, OR maybe he knows something we dont. :eek:hmy:

I would fire Dooley tomorrow if we were hiring Gruden. If they are willing to throw 5 mil out there and it is someone who could hold these recruits, then as Tone Loc would say...........Let's do it

Any coach that has lost to dooley (including Franklin and Butch Jones) should not be considered a "good" coach at all, and should not be on anybody's short list for hiring.

What do people think about Willie Taggart? I know he is an "up an comer", but he seems to have been making a good impression. Think he might be a good hire?

To all the Grudenites out there,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it will be a cold day in h e double hockey sticks before he is at UT. Get over yourselves and support the program. If that is too much to ask then go get on Franklin's nizzutzz and pull for Vandy!!!!!!! You bunch of freaking losers!

I think he would be a great hire if things were different but at this point if Hart makes a change he has to hire a proven head coach.
