And FWIW, Britton Colquitt should have been dismissed from the team, at least for this year.

The fact that Phil left him on the team shows that (a) he has no integrity, and (b) he has no backbone.

We already knew both .

go vls.

of all the faults Fulmer has, a lack of integrity is not one.

leaving him on the team, whether you agree or not, is something 95 of 100 coaches would do. funny no one talks about the integrity of coaches who allow rejects from big schools onto their squads.carson newman and jacksonville state must morally void.

I disagree.

If the kid's last name wasn't Colquitt, he'd have been booted off the team two 'episodes' ago.

Fulmer is actually one of the tougher coaches out of the football schools in the SEC, when it comes to booting players, at least since 2005's group.

All I have to say is that he didn't just come to Tennessee, he was ASKED and PAID to come to Tennessee. If he doesn't earn that, then send him on his way....I'm willing to give him some time.

Well Coach Clawson
Another fine offensive showing
9 possesions, and a whopping 2 scores for 14 points

were now averaging 10 points a game in SEC play
6 against Florida
12 against Auburn
14 against Georgia

maybe we'll be able score at least 3 touchdowns by Kentucky

On offense we returned,

-The Line
-The RBs
-The WRs

however, it is been absoultley horrific this year. I think I am going to form-tackle the next person who says "it's the same offense as last year". If it was, we would at a minimum be 4-2, but probably 5-1. Fulmer hired Clawson, so that falls on him, but it's crazy to think that Fulmer would call 42 passes against UCLA with a rattled QB, or try a reverse deep in our own territory against GA that ended all hope of winning that game.

Any coordinator can have a good scheme, but the great ones can adapt that scheme to fit the personel that is available to you. Clawson can not....

He makes Randy Sanders look like Einstein...I actually hope CPF gets involved in the playcalling, it's the only hope we have to avoid another 2005.

this season will be worse than 2005.

I do not understand why most Vol fans are giving Dave Clawson a free pass.

His schemes do not work against SEC defenses, and he consistently misuses our personnel.

The offense looks sluggish - and these are the same guys as last season, barring our QBs.

I'm afraid it will be worse than '05 also
We've still got

Bama
SC
KY
Vandy
MSU
and we can't score enough points right now to win ANY of those
