Vandy will be a test not about who is the better team, but about whether our coaching staff can prepare our players to win a game -- a big game (8-5 is huge) -- we're supposed to win (UT - 20.5).

CJP has us in a great place to turn the corner.

Is it too soon?

I know everyone wants to beat Vandy today me included, but I hope the team isn't as over-confident as the fans. Vandy has had a bad year but they have some talented players who are used to winning this game. The Vols have shown they can lose as a favorite, but I think we all hope that is in the past. This is a rivalry game and I wouldn't be surprised to see a score similar to mizzou particularly with the weather. Tennessee has gotten off to slow starts all year so how will this team react if Vandy goes down and takes a 7-0 lead? Would love to see a 48-0 whopping but wouldn't be surprised to see something like 14-10 Vols.

After the GA State game, I doubt seriously this team has any inclination to just go through the motions or take ANYTHING for granted. These guys are going to want to beat Vandy's eyes shut. GBO! And yes, I hope we hang 63 on them.
