Clamoring for Milton ??

Milton has faced tougher competition than low-level FCS Tennessee Tech.

The numbers speak for themselves. Hooker's numbers were comparable to those shown when we played Pittsburg - Milton's numbers were comparable to those shown - when we played Pittsburg.
I would argue if Hooker played the whole game against Pittsburg we are 3 - 0. I really can't say that would be true with Milton at qb the entire game.

Sorry, won’t argue the point with you, but I do not believe The competition that each QB has faced is nowhere near comparable. That being said, it is much easier to put up inflated numbers against an FCS school that is not very good than any FBS schools. The competition just is not at the same level.

now, if Hooker can put up those numbers against Florida….well, that is something else. But big numbers against TTU does not impress me.

Brady just overthrew Mike Evans by 4 yards wide open deep in the Bucs-Falcons game, time to cut him.
I saw the Penn State qb last night against Auburn who was flagged for intentional grounding for overthrowing receiver by 20 yards. And I instantly thought Joe Milton could be flagged on every deep ball. Lol

Just the Pittsburg game :

Milton 7-12 58.3 % qbr 67.2
Hooker 17-25 68 % qbr 174.5

Is anyone seriously clamoring for him? My perception is that pretty much no one is.

I haven't given up on him, but until Milton proves otherwise Hooker should start.

There is a whole thread where someone recommends going all year with Milton and there is 34 likes. Just tossing out food for thought.

Well whats the stats removed of playing against Tennessee Tech? Bowling Green would probably beat Tennessee Tech by 24 points or more. So Hookers stats vs TT you gotta believe Milton would have gotten as well.
I don't have to believe that and I don't. However, OP did not post the turn overs and those are really as important as the TDs

I'm clamoring for Milton. Sure, I liked what Hooker did in relief service, don't get me wrong. He has Josh Dobbs-style elusiveness. However, Milton is our starting QB this season and has the best abilities and chances of leading us to victory. The "overthrow" narrative spiraled out of control on VN. It blew up into a kind of groupthink and became "truth" almost instantly. It took on a life of its own and became equated with Milton being a terrible QB all around. But he's actually really good. He missed some key throws, okay. He can overcome that, get it right the next time. It's so crazy how those misses caused such a colossal fan meltdown. As for me, I'm in on Milton. Hooker is a solid backup. I hope Big-Eyed Bailey sees no meaningful snaps in 2021. He's the starter down the line, not now.

And this site has how many members? 34 likes? So some have a different opinion, which means they disagree with you. I don't mind others voicing their opinion, but 34 out of thousands.....not even worth the time man.

I am personally clamoring for Patrick Mahomes LOL.

One guy can't hit water from a boat and the other can't hold onto the ball. Some choice.
