This is a valid topic friends. Whether we like it or not...the combination of NIL money and the Transfer Portal has changed college football. I was bitchin' about that very topic to the head Football coach of a small college ( not a power 5). He reminded me that the transfer portal works BOTH WAYS...a player who simply doesn't meet the standard required to get significant playing time at one school...has the option to move on and find someplace he can actually get in the game and PLAY.

Just because they enter the portal doesn’t mean they are going to transfer.
The way I understand it is going to be common place for a lot of players to go into the TP every year as a negotiation tactic for NIL.
