What the hell is a Beamer ball anyways ?

There were a few seasons when Frank Beamers defense and special teams could be counted on to regularly generate points off turnovers, blocked kicks or returns. The phrase started then but has been grossly overused by announcers to the point that it has become obnoxious (and I like both Frank and Shane).

Why do people get mad that he said this? If Heupel made a comment after beating Vandy that not all SEC teams have that feeling, we'd laugh. All the guy did was state a fact, about a team and a coach that is gone, and a game that was years ago. Not every team did know the feeling of beating Ga State. I think Heupel will want to hang 60 on them because that's what he does, he doesn't need any extra incentive.

Ease up, bub. If it's vengeance you want, we already have revenge. We got rid of Pruitt and his whole staff for this and other shameful incidents. If this pettiness doesn't end, we will endure Vols fans wanting to hunt down Peyton in a dark alley with black jacks and brass knuckle for losing to Memphis State back in 1996. Besides that, Shane was right about that putz-Pruitt team.
