may pick it up as a rental sooner or later. it could be good for a change. something other than a WWII game.

I have the pc version of the game. It is not that bad, if the pc and xbox version are the same there are scenarios where you can win the war if you are the South.

Such as Jackson surviving after Chancellorsville and you have him at Gettysburg........

This game looks really good (graphically). I caught the TV spot for it the other day.

My question is it actually made by the History Channel or are they just sponsoring it? As far as I know, the History Channel has never made a video game.

If the former is the case, I'd be worried about the gameplay elements...

This game certainly has alot of potential- hope it lives up to it.

From what I have heard, The History Channel has helped the developers get all of the historical aspects of the game correct and they sponsor it and thats it.

If you like grand strategy gaming, and a little more realism, id recommend Forge of Freedom for the PC. It has pretty much stolen any free time i've had for the month i've had it
