While parking at the G1 level at the garage level on Lake Loudon Blvd at 9:25 A.M. I noticed a preponderance of disposition, that led me to think that the day I had well planed was going my way.
I parked within 7 rows of the entrance and was able to exit the garage at the Ticket office at TB center for Will Call straight out of "The side exit'.
I came out and headed up Chamique Holdsclaw Dr. towards Haslam Field turning right onto Pat Head Summit St.With the view of Lindsay Nelson Stadium On the left. The Entrance to the practice field was at hand.To surmise quickly around to the back of the line through Johnny Majors Blvd.To lake Loudon Blvd.To the exact same G1 level Garage entrance that I started From,I made it to the back of the line.I poop you not!
I went for the Fan Day Tee shirt "CAMP KIFFIN"and the coaches poster.I waded through the tents on the west side of the field to collect the tee and poster.Plus the other free stuff.I had ordered the Fan pacts and was not one of the first 7500.So I did not collect two sets!
I went for one Autograph and one only! Lane Kiffin's.The line was longest and with out going into it,or adding perspective the quarterbacks was the shortest line at any give time within the allotted time of 1hr and 30 min.Back to relevance.I stood in that line until I missed the cut off by 10-15 people.I poop you not.I got it on the 12"x36' poster of the Coaches that was part of the Fan Pack.
The Walk of Fame on Johnny majors Blvd was Unique in that the player exited from the west exit rather than from the east exit were their family or friends exited and the "official vol walk" started.
I could here Coach O Pumping the Players from my seat behind "The walk of fame".The Letterman's Honor roll so to speak in granite. There are two seats in there and I was on the one were you could seat and look at Peyton Manning's engraving, on the back side away from J.M.BLVD.Everybody else was at the east exit and the players were at the west exit of Neyland-Thompson sports Center.I was between the second and third Pylon in the Walk of fame when Coach Kiffin And the players came out and cut of of J.M.Blvd.into the Pylons on the front side and Coach Kiffin ran his right hand over the players names and the camera crews were running to catch his actions.I saw within 3 feet, from were I was Coach Kiffin,Crompton,Berry,Raviez,Monte,Coach O, the whole team it was a moment of Circumstance and happenstance that was sublime.
You will see photos and film of CLK rubbing his hands as described. We were told to move out of the way with a Photographer who was the "Only one" who got this shot.He was between the first and second pylon from lake Loudon Blvd. This is the reason and the circumstance of us being between the second and the third pylon and no one,I mean no one at this position. The fans were lining the VOL walk from the east exit.
Totally unique and totally circumstantial and I loved every minute of it.

I'm really glad to see how CLK is embracing our traditions the way that he has so far. Touching the names on the wall is a big deal for me and I was a little worried he may not know to do that just yet.

I wish you could have seen the look on his face...he was totally lost in the moment.Just as an associated reference.Coach O nor Monte ran their hand over the names. However Monte was by far the most chanted name at least from that point of the walk.... I totally experienced the ups and downs of every thing that was right with the fates on this day.Along with every thing that could prevail the powers that be to be less than generous.
From my perspective totally unique to me.....
