I read this guys pick on the internet and it amazes me!! If they hold us under 40 points they will be lucky!! Cincy has 3 very good skill position players and a so/so veteran defense!!

We had trouble running the ball but Tauren Poole still had 98 yards and IMO it was against fundamental blocking (no guard pulling) etc...I think that was done on purpose!! They won't have the ballz to put 8 people in the box, no way!!

You cannot honestly believe we will put up 40+ points every week because we did against Montana. Or do you?

No, but UC's defense was really bad last year. They return all their guys so they'll be better but should be far from good. I could see anywhere from 38-48 points for the good guys. I have the bad guys at 33-42 points. I think they'll hang a quite a few on us.

My prediction: Vols 42-38

I didn't get that from the post. Considering that Cincinnati has one of the worst secondaries we will face and the fact that we are going to throw the ball, it's a safe bet for 40 today.

Kinda reminds me of when Cal came to our house a few years ago......& got stomped.

Could be a long day for Collaros. I think the Defense really gets after him and hurries him into mistakes. The D-line has alot to prove.

I don't think we will score 40 points every game...look at the same starters they had last year in the secondary and what they gave up!! AP threw for 150 yards against them and I can see Tyler Bray throwing 400 yards or more if they turn him loose!!

I actually was thinking of that game earlier. I don't think it's quite on that level, but it is the same sort of mindset. You're pretty sure that we're better, but . . . .

I remember on the opening kickoff Cal's superstar tightend wobbling off the field after he had his bell rung....pretty much set the tempo of the game!!

That's what ppl aren't saying about last week, yeah sacks would be nice but the Qb from Montana was having to run for his life a lot on passes and made some really good throws under pressure. Unfortunately cincys Qb is also very good at that but I still say he's gonna have to earn every yard.

We were held to a little higher standard then too. It's just the the overall feeling of a good team coming in to our house & people having so much doubt. I got us winning by 2 tds but that's just me.

After watching Louisville struggle last night I feel better about today! Only because the caliber of Big East play is pretty sorry! But it could be the Bud Light talking already! GO VOLS

The o/u is only 53 1/2, so some else doesn't think it will be very high scoring either...that is unless the Vols hang 40 on them!!!

This game reminds me more of 2009 UCLA than 2006 Cal.

I must be way off about this game...I just see each team making it to the 30s. I guess I'm probably wrong on it, but I'm surprised by that over/under.
