Chuck Smith on 104.5

Just heard a small bit with him on the radio, he is very very impressive. He used to have aspirations to be in radio. Sounded very comfortable on air.

He is friends with Blaine Bishop, that is how they got him on.

Couple of things he said that stood out, he is looking forward to getting back to the traditions of Tennessee. He talked about all the big name defensive lineman in the pros that he has worked with in the last 7 years, and said that if you were a prospect coming out of college that missed out on his professional training, you were out of luck because all his focus was now at Tennessee. He is looking forward to getting into some of these highschool prospect's homes and telling them about the traditions of Tennessee.

Couple of humorous things he said.

He was quoted as saying "Sacks are better than sex." back in his pro days.

They asked him if he knew Dooley's nickname that his mom gave him, and he said he would not mention it on air because he wanted to keep his job. The nickname is "Precious" by the way.
