Someone on the recruiting thread said that Low said we have a DC in place already.. If that's true, I would have to think it is either Spangler or Steele. That would go with the rumor it will be someone we have been talking about...

Cristie Low dont know swat more than anyone..do believe DC will be from NFL or one with NFL exp i.e. Sal Sunseri from Al..he would not take him before NSD.DD has show in offensive staff having NFL exp is important to him

I don't care who it is we get, (NFL or College) as long as he works his ass off, recruits well, and can coach the kids up and make our defense strong. All of us questioned the DD hire, and so far, he has proven to be intelligent, hardworking, and a pretty damn good recruiter. Now, if we can get that same result from a DC, I think we will be fine.

agree - his track record is impressive. there's a large contigent, however, that will call it a disaster because his experiences isn't SEC or NFL-level.
