Not sure if anyone has read this series but given the success of film adaptations for the LoTR and GoT I'm wondering if this would ever get made into a movie series or mini-series.

Like both of the above there is plenty of political intrigue - more on the level of GoT than LoTR along with compelling characters and imaginative events.

Cool, I'm gonna look it up. Have you heard of The First Law Trilogy, The Kingkiller Chronicle, or Riyria Revelations? Those are good too

has anyone read "the prince of thorns" or "the king of thorns" by mark lawrence?i have them but i haven't started reading them yet.i was just wondering if they were any good?
