I saw this video over the weekend of C-Mo getting tossed from game after after striking out and spiking bat and helmet

I know the Halos were hoping for him to be the starter but he was sent from the big league camp after starting .175 (7-40) with 11 SOs.

It's not got much better in Salt lake as he sits at .200 (7-35) with no HRs at 13 SOs

I hate to say this, but Moore seems to always play better with a chip on his shoulder as he was clearly not focused coming into the season. He does have a lot of BBs (20) whis is why his POBP is a respectable .482. He has no HRs in SLC but does have 4 doubles.

I think its clear the Angels did the "Angels Thing" and brought him up too early last season. With his injury, he had VERY few appearances above A ball.

Had high hopes that CRW would plug the major hole (defense) in his game. Lots of swing and miss in that platoon DH season with Burke. I think he's a guy that may just take a while to make adjustments. Like you said, he's not played the equivalent of full season yet.

Without MUCH better plate discipline and figuring out a way to play a position in the field, Moore will continue to struggle. I'm not sure if he lost his confidence or his deficiencies finally caught up with him just yet. Hopefully Brady Anderson and Mabry can teach him some better patience soon.

As an ex-minor leaguer I can tell you that you will go through these periods. It happens to EVERY player. It's a damn hard life!!! I cannot emphasize that enough. He is a great player, and he will learn from this eventually. Minor leagues, even AAA suck. Hard hard way to earn a living.

As a long suffering Angels fan, I agree that they brought him up too soon. I was thrilled when we got him, but he needs to spend some time in the minors for a while to get some more professional experience. He’ll be fine. He’s a great ball player and will get in a groove soon.

Guess we gotta keep looking and hoping for our Peyton Manning of MLB. Soon.

He is well below the average player age in the MLB. He has time to continue to develop.

The power and athleticism are there. Putting it together against top notch pitching is all that is missing, which is easier said than done. His main challenge now is all his tendencies are on tape and stats are tracked against pro pitchers. Those pitchers know where he is weak. I am sure his development staff is focused on those weaknesses now.

AAA is no joke either. Those are pro pitchers out there who may not be consistent enough to make a roster or rehabbing an injury, but good enough to torture young batters.

Dude? Blake Burke already has 6 homers. He’s crushing it and likely heading to the majors soon.

Dude - that is awesome news. Thanks, but when he can throw down some serious stats like Peyton Manning for over a dozen years, then I will really be impressed.

Hate to see C-Mo struggling, especially since he is a very emotional player.

Not sure why he got ejected right there?? I guess he said something to the umpire? Didn't look at the umpire or seem to show him up.. seemed to just be a reaction to his own struggle.
