He lists as a RS Senior, but didn’t know if he had some eligibility left. I really enjoy watching him play.

We don't have anything at all at safety. None of our safeties can play for real. Consistently exposed as non-ballhawks. Brooks has a couple nice picks but he can't play the ball in the air and Turpentine is even worse. No wonder he left Ohio State. He would have been fourth team at best for them.

TN doesn't seem to be able to recruit really good safeties or develop them so good luck in the portal. If you are not getting a top player from a good team then why not sign from HS.

All these guys that hit the portal don't deserve their own thread. Most are leaving because they didn't get the playing time they thought they would get. Let's focus our Threads on who we Get in the Portal instead. Hopefully it's a handful of experienced players of need.

I think it's more about developing them...Martinez is in his 2nd stint here and it's the same mistakes over and over...he's the common denominator..
