I had no idea where to post this so I put it here. There was some talk of it in the Political forum bit that was back in March. I hope all of these animals get the D personally for having anything to do with these murders.

Indeed. I think that WATE has a live feed on their website. This is the worst murder in my lifetime in Knoxville.

Yeah I have been looking at it a little. I remember hearing about it but didn't remember all the stuff that happened. I can't say what I am really thinking.

Once you've familiarized yourself with the details one needn't have to limit oneself to Knoxville. What occurred with those two people is among the most heinous murders I've heard of...anywhere.

I think the people responsible should really be hogtied and delivered to the family and friends of the victims and that be that. Whatever happens to them who among us is to argue it wouldn't be "just"? Let those that suffered the actual loss be the judge of that.

If we have to stick to more mundane procedures go ahead and figure out who needs their organs and part them out to people that need kidneys, livers, bone marrow, etc. At least that way their miserable lives would end with something of worth coming of it.

Hard to believe people can have this much evil in them. The local news starts off every night with coverage of the trial, at least this week they have. When I see Cobbins on the TV I find myself hoping he gets the death penalty. Absolutely revolting to look at. As a parent, I would honestly want to kill these people myself had this been one of my kids.

I was discussing this last night with some friends. If the races were reversed and it was a black couple that were raped, tortured and murdered by some white guys, it would be a media circus. You would probably have Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton sitting in the courtroom with the families, talking on TV about this being a racially motivated hate crime, etc.

Well from what I read yesterday, it wasn't considered a hate crime because these guys dated white people, had white friends and associated with white people.

Absolutely without a doubt. You would probably see our great leader in that bunch as well. If it were white on white or black on black or whatever, I am positive it would get more national attention. But, it is what it is. I only hope that after this long ordeal, the families get just punishment and closure in the horrific crime.

On a trial note, Cobbins is a coward and making it sound like he had nothing to do with it. Well, he did nothing to stop it either. He is lying now that his life is in question and blaming it all on his half brother. What a punk, true thug life right there. tough guy to the very end.

They really should all be left to rot in prison. Solitary confinement. They just opened a maximum security prison in Morgan County... Built for the "baddest of the bad in East Tn" I was told... I was there before they opened it up, pretty scary place empty, I'd hate to see it full. Bet they'd fit in nice there.

Medical Examiner took the stand today. They did not show the pictures online (not needed IMO) but the descriptions were enough. I am guessing that one of the parents (father) is sitting behind the DA and he just rocks back and forth, clinching his hands and jaw and stares a hole through Cobbins. Cobbins hides his head from the camera and I swear he fell asleep when they turned out the lights. According to the ME, both were penetrated with some blunt objects in the anus.

I was reading the twitter from the trial on knoxnews and it makes me sick. If any of these people are found to have known about it, watched or participated then there is truly no need for them to be on this earth any longer. No plea bargains, no deals just get rid of them

Really want to feel sick? Wait 'til it hits you that whatever time these...creatures...are incarcerated you'll be footing the bill for their food, clothing, meds, etc.

I say give them guns and drop them into Afghanistan with orders of "find Bin Laden". Two things could happen.

1) Bin Laden is found and killed (good)

2) They end up on blurry videotapes being beheaded with blunt kitchen knives (also good)
