Tennessee: Quarterbacks coach Chris Weinke has a new two-year contract and raise, per Knox News. Weinke will now earn $450k annually with a contract that expires January 31, 2022. Weinke made $355k under his previous contract.

i think CJP is looking for stability. After the staff turnover of this past off season, he no doubt wants to settle things down for the next off season.

I personally don't have an issue with coach Weinke staying here unlike some on here, he's a decent recruiter with a bunch of ties to big time high schools. He done a decent job last year considering what he had to work with. Congratulations Coach!!! Go Vols
