What the hell, Rivals.com just changed the title to "Vols Stand Alone For Walker." Ummm... I'm confused... it previously said "Walker Commits To Vols."

Scratch the previous post. Walker did commit to the Vols, they've just been updating the website, I guess.

Before leaving Knoxville, Walker gave his verbal commitment to Coach Fulmer!

Walker commitment locks up the Donald commitment. With Todd and Chris already on board Donald is sure to follow. The three of them are close.

Yeah, I saw you posted that on the other "Chris Walker" thread. I hope you're right, but we won't know until the week before the Army All-American Bowl. Donald said he would tell a coach before he goes to play in this game to get it off his mind.

Exactly! It's definitely a positive step towards Donald coming to Tennessee. What a linebacking crew we're going to have if he does.

After he told Fulmer he'd be wearing orange, he called Chris Donald to tell him.. :dance2:

VolInArizona... you may ask too much... but it would be a very nice addition. I'd say Dwight Jones is more likely.

Actually, Paige is more likely than Dwight Jones. In fact, Trooper just went down and had in-home visits with Ahmad Paige and Luther Davis. He talked Luther Davis into cancelling his Auburn visit in January and will instead visit UT. Ahmad Paige and Luther Davis are very good friends and have talked about playing together in college. Ahmad was helping Trooper talk Luther Davis into making the visit to UT. Luther Davis said that Paige had great things to say about his UT visit. You can read into that what you want. But, at the very least it means that Ahmad Paige is still interested in UT.

I saw on Rivals.com today that Luther Davis is in fact going to take his official visit to Auburn. It's an article that came out today, and it didn't mention Tennessee as one of his final visits. So that hurts UT's chances to land Paige. He'll most likely stay with Florida State.

UT should get a visit from Dwight Jones sometime in January, and I think Trooper can persuade him over to Knoxville. However, in all likelihood, UT won't land another WR in this class.
