I saw an article up on scout and read about an up an coming Memphis S/LB prospect who has offers from UTk,Vandy, GA Tech, Ole Miss, and hears from Bama and Auburn. In the article the kid is asked who is the BEST football player you have ever gone against? and the kid replies: Chris Walker, saying that Chris Walker really did him in last time they played. I like this article because after reading this it makes me feel Chris Walker is a HUGE SLEEPER, but i just thought the article was a good read for vol fans ..... here is the link vvvvvvvvvvvv Scout.com: Memphis LB talks about Jr Day visits

Walker was heavily recruited. I think he'll be a huge special teams player his first year there is just a logjam of talent at his position

He is probably a little too highly rated to be considered a sleeper. He could be labeled as underrated though.

I think there is a good possibility that if we didn't land both then we wouldn't have landed either.

I hope Walker is a beast, yea i didn't mean to say he was a sleeper. But he just doesn't seem to get the recognition as our other recruits do. I don't even expect Donald to start at LB this year, neither do i believe Walker plays much. I bet both Walker and Donald could be starting as early as Soph, from what i have heard they are both that good. :)

i remember another raw, physical beast at lineback for UT a few years back... i think walker is top of the list for overall recruits this year and will be a four year stud at UT.

wilson was a three year starter and i think walker has the same potential.

Chris Walker and Al Wilson same potential? Wilson was arguably the best linebacker at UT ever. Wilson was also the leader of the natl. champ. team. You can't coach leadership.
