Chris Treece show says NO Gruden!

This is out of control. Every time someone throws doubt on Gruden coming here they get bashed and called every name in the book. People in the media and former players are saying its not very likely, and nobody wants to believe it. Some random people on the internet saying its a done deal, people eat it up. Have we not learned our lessons from the Lovie Smith and Randy Shannon deals?!?

Edit: And i hope he does come, but im not going to get my hopes up and watch everyone argue about everything until December. If Dooley is not fired until after the season, this site will explode from Gruden posts and threads.

This is easily worse than the Randy Shannon rumors....probably the same result though

I'm not saying this is or isn't a done deal but the Randy Shannon thing was done until Dooley got concerned he was hiring his replacement and put the squash on it.

Why would he not bring in someone who has the potential to save his job? Who told you he squashed it? Same people who told you he was coming? The same people that were trying to save their E-cred from taking a hit for saying he was coming.

Derek Dooley is a smart man but he does some really dumb stuff. Why would he want to change to 3-4 in such an important year? I really don't care if you believe this or not.

Well, there's no link to it if that's what you want. You guys need to just look at a posters past info and judge for yourself if you think its valid. Too many people like to flame anyone with info because there is no link. Well when something is not released to the media there wont be a link.

It reminds me of the Peyton Manning to the Titans rumor. A lot of hype with possible reality to some of the rumor (s) with a most likely big let down.

I like Doug and think he has good insight on the game as well as the history of the program. With that said, he has even stated that he is no longer connected to the program on the inside as he once was.

If Matthews was Treece's "source" lol, Matthews is clueless and he is just trying to throw a turd into the big orange punch bowl. Treece should just keep his mouth shut. His show is much better when allows SWain and Stokes to sit in and he shuts up

Gruden is coming. The media is trying to downplay it because #1 Dooley is still coach and #2 We have a game saturday that nobody is talking about. Everyone relax until after game Saturday. Everything is on a timeline.

As is every person on this board pretending that anything is anywhere close to a done deal. If you call Matthews out for it then you have to be consistent. Not one poster on this board has any clue what is going on with Hart and his 'search' at this time. Speculation that he is coming is every bit as uninformed.
