Man it seems like they just give this job to anyone, He is very close minded when it comes to the Big ten. He predicted the Kentucky will make a run for the SEC and possible BCS:crazy:

I also heard him say that LSU's most likely loss would be UT. Sounds good to me, but the last time I checked the schedule we don't play LSU.

I have to post this, I used to work at Ohio State and I was on the football team detail at the Blackwell Inn on OSU Campus. (This is the morning before the game.)

So we block off the second floor so that one can come up stairs but people who are authorized. Well I was at the top of the stairs and the two guys at the bottom send up this guy and I have no idea who it is.

I stop him and ask for his name and what his purpose of being there was, Sir I am Chris Speilman.

Needless to say the guys got a lot of mileage out of that one. Good times!

He actually talked up the SEC (or the southeast conf. as he calls it) pretty good today IMO.

He did mess up a couple of times though like when they asked him who could beat LSU this year and he said Tennessee then quickly added Florida, too. Not sure if he realized he messed up by saying UT or just added UF for good measure.

I know a lot of people, whenever I see someone in orange I carefully look for the big white T.

Then I go to them and say God Bless you, there aren't many of us up here.

I had one lady one day get next to me in my car and start screaming, I thought well a bullet will be quick and painless hopefully, then she said go VOLS!

I have a Vols sticker on my car...........................

Nice to see there's other Vols here in Ohio! I'm in Newark and agree that while I generally don't mind Speilman's show, he's such a Big Ten homer. I understand that he's an OSU all time great, but I've actually heard him talk about how the Big Ten is the best conference top to bottom, blah, blah, puke!

There's no football in the world like SEC Football, especially in shades of ORANGE!

God Bless Vols Fans in stupid big ten country.

Yeah it sucks, I went from living right in the heart of Vol country my whole life. To freaking Toledo,ohio....they dont know if they like Michigan,tosu, or Nd here. I HATE IT

Spielman is living proof that the only critters dumber than raccoons and possums are ex-linebackers.

This is nice though....we got a Delaware boy, a Dublin boy, a Genoa Township boy (me), and now a NERK boy on here. Toledo doesn't count, primarily because when someone said "Yeah, Tony Packo's is great Hungarian food" I actually listened and had to experience the disappointment myself.

I like Speilman. Everyone screws up every now and then. Just because he said UT could beat LSU doesn't mean he's a moron.

He might not be the sharpest at names and schedules but he was without doubt the most entertaining color guy I watched last year when he did our Memphis game on ESPN2.

When I heard him say that, I thought he might have been predicting that we would meet LSU in the SECCG. Or maybe he just had no idea what he was talking about.
