Chris Plank on Fox Sports Radio said this mporning that if the vols lose tonight then they need to make a change and that Fulmer has run his course. I hate Alabama though. We need the best of both worlds, a vols win and Fulmer retirement announcement

Win or lose against Alabama, the search firm has already been hired. Fulmer will not be on the UT sidelines in 09.

I hope, for his legacy, he destroys the Tide in Neyland tonight.

Yeah I hope ole Phil leaves a terrible taste in Alabama's mouth tonight before he is gone...I want that last game against them to be memorable and twists the knife in them for many years to come.

If Fulmer wins and they go to a Bowl game..he isn't going anywhere!...By the way...have you seen our 09 recruiting class? No way Hamilton axes him with those 2 aces in Phil's hand.

This university will not be held hostage by the verbal promise of a bunch of high school kids who have never played a down of college football.

I hope every UT recruit stays with the Vols and signs for the new coach...but Fulmer won't be keeping his job because he's landing another top 10 recruiting class.

RESPECT for our coach and players.. They are working hard and no one is a bigger big orange fan than Phil.. Look at the other SEC teams,,not too many wins for the most, we are on the rebound and it will get better. COACH PHIL NEEDS THE NATIONS SUPPORT AND THE BOO BIRDS NEED TO STAY HOME..GO BIG ORANGE--BEAT BAMA

We have 2 recruiting classes on the field right now that are better than the one in process, and fulmer can't coach this talented team out of a wet paper bag. So I could care less. The sooner fulmer is gone, the better chance we have of not continuing to underachieve.

I'm beginning to tire of hearing how great our recruiting class is this year. We are ranked high because of the large number of commits we have. Once the other schools start filling their classes out, then we will drop.

Phil, doing less with more since 2000.

How do you figure? Please don't reference one game against a lousy opponent. I see a prolonged downward spiral since 1999.

I love the avatar. My brother and I actually went to the MSU game with bags over our heads for a little while before the game. Most people thought it was pretty funny and wanted a picture with us but some didn't find it to amusing. Lol

We have a top 10 recruiting class? Wow - never know it from the results on the field this year. That should say it all IMHO.

Don't you know, recruiting has become the fun part of UT football, since the results on the field have become so depressing.
